Since arriving in Mazatlán
almost two years ago, I have learned so much about the wildlife here.
I wanted to share some of my findings with you. This information has never
been released before. Please share it with your children and friends.
Packs of Wild Chihuahuas – One must be careful when walking alone along
any road where there are vacant lots, or underbrush. You must be careful
to avoid the packs of wild Chihuahuas known to menace the area. They work
together like piranhas and can down a whole cow in half an hour. You have
to wear snake boots to avoid the bites to your ankles that eventually
lead to a fall. It is recommended you don’t use pepper spray as Mexican
dogs like peppers, and it attracts more of the little devils. Manhuahua’s
– If Chi means “life force” in Chinese, then huahua must mean “huge or
enormous”, as Chihuahua’s have

such an attitude. This
term can also be attached to the male of our species, some of which also
have a problem with larger than life attitudes. They are……… Manhuahua’s.
Cowhuahua’s - I am not sure of the species of cow, but it is amazing how
when you drive down the highway you see a sign with a little cow on it.
Then you look up on the hill, and there are cows which appear to be the
same size as the one on the sign. These little cows are Cowhuahua’s. They
are amazing to see. There are even smaller cows on the hills farther away.
Chihuahua cheese - I have mentioned this before. Chihuahua cheese is not
made from Chihuahua milk as many of you believe. It is made in the State
of Chihuahua. I was a little bummed to discover this at first; I had this
idea of a little piece of property, just big enough for a Chihuahua Dairy.
