So you are on vacation. It’s time to relax. I took an informal survey of
vacationers in Mazatlan and asked them: How do you relax while on vacation?
The most common response was a walk on the beach...always relaxing. Some
people said just being on vacation was relaxing, how true. Others mentioned
massage as a way they relax. Here is a few of the other responses I received:
“Drink a little Rum, do a little dance” Jerry, Washington. “Every morning
I go for breakfast on the beach. It’s a great way to start the day”-Bob,
Colorado. “My favorite thing to do is share a bottle of wine with my husband.
We sit on our patio and enjoy the ocean”.-Cindy, Seatttle. “Relaxation begins
for me, when I get off the plane. It is such a nice change of pace here,
I relax by just being here”.-Jean, California. “I’ve got a favorite beach
side restaurant in Olas Altas where I watch the sunset and have a beer”.-David,
Miami. “I lay by the pool with a good book and get some sun”.-Marty, Arizona.
“Sit by the beach with my husband and listen to the |

waves”.-Susan, California. “Kick back by the pool with a cocktail 1 or 2
or 3 or...” - Beth, California. “I enjoy a good cigar. I’ll enjoy smoking
it on the beach, works for me”.-John, New Mexico. “A whole lotta nothing”.-Susan,
California. “Taking, relaxation to another level breathing is simple, yet
powerful way to relax. For example: slowly inhale to capacity, pause for
a moment, then slowly exhale everything, and once again pause. This simple
technique done for a couple of minutes will bring a deep sense of relaxation”.
-Massage therapy is one of the oldest healing forms known to man. The benefits
of massage range from pain relief to balancing of your body's energy. I
believe massage should be one of the many things we do to stay healthy and
happy. Massage is no longer viewed as a luxury for those that can afford,
it has become a necessity in many peoples lives. If you have never had a
professional massage wouldn’t it make sense to start your relaxation now
at beginning of your vacation. Paul is a professional massage therapist
at the Paul Mish Salon in the Costa de Oro Hotel. |
