Mazatlan Tourism Survey 2007 - 2008
The month of November is the beginning of our high tourist reason, which will end in May next year. And in reviewing our Pacific Pearl archives, we notice we have not published a survey on your thoughts about our city in three years. Over those three years, Mazatlán has changed as a tourist destination thanks to a welcome building boom, improved cruise ship docking amenities and new businesses which have opened in support of the increased activity.
The Pearl is interested in your opinion of Mazatlán as it is today. Below is a short survey which you are welcome to complete and return to us. We will send a compilation of your responses to the hotel/motel associations, City Hall and the Sinaloa Secretary of Tourism.

How do you Rate Mazatlán as a Tourist Destination?

  1. How did you hear of Mazatlán as a tourist destination?
  2. How did you arrive here? Car, plane, boat?
  3. Where are you staying? Hotel, condo, B&B?
  4. How many times have you visited the city?
  5. What changes did you like or dislike since your last visit?
  6. What most impressed you about our town?
  7. What suggestions do you have to improve tourist amenities?
  8. If you encountered a problem, were you able to resolve it? How?
  9. Will you return?
  10. What are your suggestions for improving the Pacific Pearl Magazine?
  11. Where do you live?

This survey will be posted on the Pacific Pearl website at www.pacificpearl.com under the survey button, or you can drop off your response at our office.
As an aside, we´d like to thank Diana Dawson of the Chicago Tribune for mentioning our website as the city´s only English-language visitors´ guide in her Oct. 7th article, “Mazatlán mixes History with Glitz.”
