“Live to Ride…Ride to Live”

As a weekend warrior, I have traveled around the
states of Sinaloa, Nayarit and Jalisco on my motorcycle and I can
say I´ve enjoyed every trip. People along the way have been friendly,
waving and smiling, and very helpful with directions. And like other
motorcycle enthusiasts, I always look forward to Motorcycle Week
in Mazatlán which takes place April 19-23.

| Bike Week this year promises to be the best ever. The breakfast rides to El Quelite and Copala are an excellent way to start the morning. Each of the three excursions on April 20, 21 and 22 are different, and as these charming towns are close to Mazatlán it is an easy ride. El Quelite, of course, is well-known for its cleanliness and friendly people. The enchanting mountain village of Copala seems frozen in time. Restaurants in both these towns serve excellent breakfasts – just the ticket after an early morning ride. |
| The drag races this year will be held in a professional arena just north of town. Because bikes are getting bigger and faster it was moved to this area for safety reasons. The races are always a crowd-pleaser, as is the 2-hour motorcycle parade through the streets of Mazatlán. |
| Beginning April 19th bikers and their families will arrive from the United States, Canada and Mexico to create the largest bike rally in Latin America. The entrance fees for bikers are 500-1,000 pesos, which includes hats, shirts, pins and other mementos. If you are a non-biker, the entrance fee is just 10 pesos per day, which includes the evening rock concerts. |

All events take place at the Plaza de la Moto next
to Sam´s Club, except the Drag Races which will be held at the Autodromo
